Job Summary:

As an Air Export Freight Forwarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the exportation of goods via air transport, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international regulations. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, airlines, customs agents, and internal teams, to facilitate smooth and efficient operations. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of export procedures and regulations are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate air export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
2. Communicate with clients to gather shipment details, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions.
3. Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate rates to optimize cost-effectiveness while meeting client requirements.
4. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
5. Liaise with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely clearance of goods through customs procedures.
6. Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
7. Coordinate with internal teams, such as operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export shipments.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
9. Stay updated on changes in export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize service quality.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred or equal experience in supply chain management, logistics, international business, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in AIR EXPORT FREIGHT FORWARDING or logistics, with a strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, and regulations.
3. Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office applications.
