Job Summary:
Sets up and operates press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal and structural shapes as
specified by work orders, blueprints, drawing templates or layout.
Job Duties:
o Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials.
o Select correct tooling for machine operations.
o Complete simple editing process effectively.
o Recall programs and set up established processes.
o Loads and prepares parts as required for the machining process.
o Establishes reference points on material or work piece for subsequent machining.
o Installs machine replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, equipment, and test operation of the unit to ensure functionality and performance.
o Plan, layout, and perform safely and efficiently, machine and bench operations required to build, fit or
repair parts for equipment and die assemblies, fixture, and gauges to exacting accuracy with daily supervision.
o Maintain machine tools and equipment.
o Enters accurate data into job tracking and quality software programs.
o Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
o Proficient in math, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to utilize precision tools (tape-measure, calipers, micrometers, verniers, etc.) to take accurate measurements.
o Employee may be required to use tools, including basic hand tools, saws, grinders, mills, lathes, bending tools, drill press, bandsaw, scale, and stamping tools.
o Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings.
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.
o Highly organized, self-motivated.
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
o Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Experience and Education Required:
o High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate
o 1-3 years’ experience as a machine operator (preferred)
Physical Demands:
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.
o Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods.
o Frequently be required to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and larger amounts with assistance.
o Employee must be able to read, hear and speak English.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
In our facility, employees may be exposed to excessive noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, smoke, and ambient temperatures.
The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:
o Safety glasses with side shields.
o Steel toed boots/shoes.
o Hearing protection.
Pay and Benefits:
o Full-time position, 40 hours per week
