The welder/fabricator assembles precast concrete forms in a small shop environment.
Job DescriptionCompensation & Benefits:

- 2 years of welding experience required or equivalent education or training
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
- Read blueprints and drawings while taking measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Performing MIG welding to satisfactory product standards and specifications.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials. Perform certain servicing and maintenance operations.
- Measure dimensions of products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications on blueprints using basic measuring equipment including calipers, steel rulers, and measuring tapes
- Operate welding equipment and related tools
- Operates iron worker, disk grinders, cutoff wheels, hand drills, and other metal-working hand tools
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Positive personality and driven individual
- Reliable and punctual
