MVG, Inc.’s primary client base is in the telecommunications industry, and includes major wireless carriers, handset manufacturers, antenna vendors, and certification laboratories. MVG, Inc.’s US office, located in Marietta, GA, supports our customers in the Americas. This includes sales, system integration, technical support & maintenance, measurement services, and various other support functions.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Administrative Assistant would work with both the local & worldwide Sales Managers in maximizing sales through the development of new business and the servicing of a wide variety of customers in telecommunications, satellite, automotive, aerospace, defense, and homeland security sectors utilizing a solutions-based sales approach.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Support the Product and Regional Sales Managers by providing technical and financial proposals of Antennas, RF Safety, antenna measurement systems, antenna measurement services, and derived products and services.
  • Account management activities include maintaining and updating information on MVG’s CRM (Salesforce), quotes, proposals, technical writing, and pre-sales support.
  • Assist in technical proposal progress, meaning be a liaison between tasks assigned to Systems Engineers/Pre-Sales for technical proposal creation and follow up for completion.
  • Assist Product & Regional Sales Managers with customer management includes but not limited to yearly ad hoc documentation submittals (rep & certs; NDAs, SAM.Gov, other docs).
  • Understanding customer needs and identifying how MVG products can meet customer’s expectations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email, phone, or in-person. Provide information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Monitor and provide assistance where necessary with incoming orders for service.

SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:

  • 2 years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience of high-tech products/services is preferred.
  • Ability to establish positive and lasting customer relationships with diverse (perhaps sometimes difficult) personalities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Experience driving the sales process across internal and external teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field).
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills.
  • Should have good computer skills, a sound knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR SKILLS:

  • Sales experience with RF & microwave products, general understanding of antennas, technical background & experience with Antennas, RF Safety, Antenna/RCS/EMC measurements
  • Experience with CRM and SAP software

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR WORK REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree preferred (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Experience driving the sales process across internal and external teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field).

LIFTING OR OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:

  • Ability to lift at least 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Physical environment is generally safe with minimal health risk. No safety equipment or unusual precautions are required.
