Job Title - Field Service Technician

Locations – Tyler, TX ( or ) San Antonio, TX ( or ) Austin, TX

Must-Haves

Strong Electrical knowledge: multimeter usage, AC/DC currents, reading blueprints and circuit diagrams, electrical troubleshooting on complex machinery.

Strong mechanical knowledge: interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals to pinpoint issues, diagnosis and troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, mathematics ability, machine shop experience, preventing malfunctions.

Nice-To-Haves

• Must be open to extensive travel, gone up to 5 days in a row with 2 days off, or 10 days with 4 days off.
• Experience working in food and meat processing facilities, with cold environments and messy equipment.
• Prior experience with packaging machines (ideally thermoforms or vacuum sealing)
• Military experience is beneficial, particular mechanical or electrical.
• Ideally, not more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years, or 3 jobs in the last 7 years
• Prior troubleshooting experience on complex equipment, where others have often compounded issues by trying, and failing, to repair on their own.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot or install complex, customized packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities. Repair equipment to customer specifications quickly and efficiently, addressing high level challenges with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,354.13 - $49,802.82 per year
