Gromelski & Associates, Inc. is Hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer Near Manassas, VA
Cybersecurity Engineer Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in scripting languages like Python
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Knowledge with Linux systems and large system development
- Experience or understanding of basic networking switch/router/firewall/IDS concepts
- Experience in researching new Cybersecurity capabilities, performing trade studies, and providing expertise to peers and leadership
- Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. citizenship.
- A desire to create new network and system capability and develop from design
- Cloud experience such as Kubernetes and containers
- Creative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a continuous learning mindset
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
- Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that foster team success.
