Seeking an experienced Draftsman for a direct hire opportunity in Madison, WI
This position offers employeebenefits package including: Medical, Vision, Flexible Spending, 401(k), paid holidays,
Pay: $60,000-75,000 annually based on experience.
Job Responsibilities for Draftsman:
- Proactively meet deadlines
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Review projects for accuracy and completeness
- Develop original drawings from projects
- Maintain knowledge of building codes
- Visiting constructions sites to perform measurements and information gathering
- Collaborate with project managers and field staff to problem solve concerns during construction
- Convert architect's concepts into architectural drawings
- Work with design staff and project managers to achieve design goals
- Verify dimensions, scale, space relationships and programmatic needs
Qualifications for Draftsman:
- Associates or undergraduate degree in architecture
- Capability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, sections and details
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other design software
