Position Summary
This position involves operating asphalt equipment.
Responsibilities
Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
Assists crew in operating job site, taking inventory of product, knowledge of operation of equipment
Assists in job site repairs as needed to equipment and performs preventative maintenance when needed
Performs a variety of tasks assisting with the operation of job site, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Follows all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills
Can be apart of a team environment, be a team player
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Willing to work hours that are associated to the asphalt industry, including overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
Minimum Education and Experience
1-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Experience in asphalt industry preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
