What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced electrical assembler to join our production team. You will be assembling product components, documenting production information, and performing routine maintenance and calibrations on our instruments. A first-class production technician will be someone whose knowledge and skills result in the manufacturing of high-quality products while keeping safety, productivity, and quality at the forefront of your day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
  • Manufacture electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform quality control of installation, wiring, or other components that may affect the operation of the electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform inspections and troubleshoot issues.
  • Test electrical systems for proper functioning.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations and standards.
  • Support the development and update of product and process documentation.
  • Support continual improvement in standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Contribute to and participate in weekly production meetings.
  • Advance product improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in peer training and development.
  • Ensure the safety of self and others on the production floor.
  • Recommend cost-saving ideas.
  • Perform related and special duties as assigned.
What You Need To Be Successful
  • Experience reading and interpreting assembly blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and receiving verbal instructions on multiple projects.
  • Experience installing components and parts, such as circuit breakers, disconnects, starters, contractors, switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, circuit boards, panels, and other electromechanical component units.
  • Experience routing and attaching wires (of various sizes) and connectors to form circuitry. Connecting assembly to power supply sources, switch panels, or junction boxes
  • Experience with safe and productive use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including 110V, 12V, 24V and 48V systems
  • Ability to follow directions and leverage processes to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Ability to consistently produce and manufacture products to company standards.
  • Ability to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.

Qualifications
  • High School Degree or GED
  • 3 years of experience in electrical assembly
  • Previous experience with Testing and Monitoring Instrumentation is a plus
