What You Will Do
Reporting to our VP of Sales for the West and Midwest Regions, you will partner with the region's top benefits brokers to secure group agreements as a company-paid, or payroll-deducted benefit to eligible employees.
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Owning the business in a large, multi-state geographic market.
• Responsible for developing and managing key broker and consultant partnerships.
• Meeting and exceeding ambitious annual targets with a dual focus on growing total premiums and membership unit volume.
• Creating effective group-specific sales and marketing plans.
• Traveling at regular intervals across the assigned region, as needed, to achieve sales goals.

What We Need From You

• 10 years of Employee Benefits sales experience, preferably in voluntary/worksite, group life, or group disability insurance.
• Currently based in Southern California with an active network of established brokers throughout the Southwestern U.S.
• Experience educating brokers about the need for unique products. Good at developing mindshare and getting partners to take a chance on something new.
• Current A&H insurance license.
• Demonstrated commitment to utilizing CRM technologies.
• Proficient use of MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
