Aerotek is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Los Angeles, CA
Job Description:
Perform progressive and final inspection of articles, subassemblies, major assemblies, installations, and related components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and drawings, maintenance, repair and alteration documents, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins in accordance with the quality system, department policy, management direction and regulatory rules and guidance.
Experienced with performing inspection on business jet or larger aircraft.
All work being performed is modification related and very few companies are performing the type of work they are doing.
A couple examples - they are modifying 737 aircraft to help fight forest fires and assist with oil spills that take place in the oceans.
They will be more than doubling their square footage in the next 6 months.
Building new hangar space.
5 years of aircraft systems work (preferred).
3 years working in an MRO or flight department.
A&P license (required).
Pay:
$42/hour $50/hour
Work Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday Thursday: 5:30am 4:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday Friday: 3:00pm 11:30pm
Weekend Shift: Thursday Saturday: 4:30am 4:30pm
OT and weekend work is to be expected.
Placement Options:
