Job Position: Delivery Driver

Wage: $18 - $20 per hour

Warehouse Location: Lincolnwood, IL

Job Summary

Our Delivery Drivers are the friendly face of the Food For Thought brand and drive our modern fleet of delivery vehicles to reach established local accounts throughout the city of Chicago and suburbs, while providing exceptional customer experiences.

As a FFT Delivery Driver, you will work effectively and efficiently alongside members of the Warehouse, Kitchen and Sales teams. We offer flexible schedules, delivering from Monday to Sunday between 5 am and 6 pm (may vary based on order volume), and you will enjoy two days off per week. Our Headquarters is conveniently located in Lincolnwood, IL.

Responsibilities

• Engaging and communicating effectively with customers.

• Ensuring prompt and reliable delivery of our high-quality products.

• Loading and unloading of trucks.

• Picking up and packing orders.

• Performing other duties as requested, such as cross-training, moving supplies and equipment, cleaning up spills, warehouse organization, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment screening and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) background checks.

• Ability to read, write and understand the English language to review menus and pack lists and pack orders accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Driving/Warehouse experience

• Experience in Food Service and/or Customer Service (highly valued).

• Team player, thriving in collaborative environments.

• Outgoing personality and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
