Overview:

Our Lady of Mercy is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper and building maintenance professional to join our team! As a Groundskeeper, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the Lawns are cut and maintained, and are visually appealing. You will work closely with the Plant Operations Manager to perform light Utility work, which may include work orders. The right person is able to listen and follow direction, and is willing to step in when needed.

This position is part time and seasonal with flexible hours. Training is available Potential permanent employment may be available for the right person.

Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties
- Mow lawns and maintain gardens
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment used in grounds keeping and building maintenance.
- Keep outdoor areas free of debris and litter
- Assist with landscape improvement projects
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment

Skills (nice to have, but not required.):
- Experience in grounds keeping or related field
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and tools
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment effectively
- Skill in using hand tools for various grounds keeping tasks
- Attention to detail
