Education/Experiences
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years experience as a Mechanical Technician
- Working in environments such as Food Processing and Meat Plants is a plus
- Packaging machine installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in reading and understanding Electrical and Pneumatic Diagrams.
- Knowledge in reading and understanding 2D Layout with AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software: ERP, AutoCad, Microsoft Office, PLC Software and Robot Software.
- Fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- 50% or more of traveling inside United States and Canada
- Be able to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Maintain or repair equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in the inspection of parts for proper dimensions and correct fit.
- Install and replace electrical or electronic components.
- Align, fit, or assemble parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, or templates.
- Reception and shipping of equipment and spare parts.
- Be able to assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Assist with inventory replenishment.
- Assist with order entry, order picking and order shipping.
- Be able to communicate with customers to coordinate shipments and asses shipping-related issues.
- Any other activities as assigned by supervisors and managers.
