Description:
Candidates will be accessioning specimens that are brought into the laboratory, this will include organizing sealed swab specimens in sequential order and sitting at a work station doing data entry. The accessioner will accession 75-100 specimens per day. This will be doing a lot of data entry and verifying label information against information in the database for accuracy. There will be no patient interaction, this position will be in support of the lab however the person will work at a work station and will NOT moving around the lab assisting medical technologists.
