Haun Construction is a small construction business based in Knoxville, Tennessee, serving 23 counties throughout Tennessee. Construction/Carpentry Worker:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks and possess a strong work ethic.

In this position, you will have many duties and responsibilities including:

• Performing standard carpentry tasks (framing, decking, deck/patio covering, fencing etc.)
• Demolition during remodeling projects
• Construction tasks completed in a timely manner and with an unsurpassed level of quality.
• Ensure that safety is prioritized at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints to execute projects accurately
• Work with all members of the team and management to ensure that execution is as seamless as possible and rework is minimized

Required:

• Reliable transportation to and from work (Knox County based)
• Proficiency with all standard hand and powered tools
• Valid driver's license
• Team-oriented, attention to detail, honest, and reliable
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
• Able to pass a drug test & background check.
• Experience framing/deck building.
• A desire to learn and grow in skills and knowledge.
• Work history shall be verified.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to walk on a roof during and after construction
• Must be able to work on elevated platforms
• Must be able to navigate through low clearance crawl spaces
• Must be able to navigate through a standard truss framed attic
• Must be able to work outdoor in climatic environments standard for the region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
