We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a thriving team dedicated to innovation and quality. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape financial strategies and drive business success in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communicate monthly and annual financial statements clearly.
• Oversee financial, project, and program accounting.
• Coordinate budget preparation, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Conduct periodic audits and budget-to-actual comparisons.
• Generate monthly reports including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation, cash flow reports, and balance sheet audits.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Maintain records of company insurance coverages.
• Assist with special projects as directed by executive management.
• Support and participate in the company's Food Safety culture and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Familiarity with office software, SAP preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Keen attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills.
• Exceptional time management and multi-tasking capabilities.

📈 Competitive Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 (flexible up to $135,000 for exceptional candidates)

📅 Work Schedule: Onsite initially with potential for hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote), business hours, Monday to Friday.
