Education
  • High school graduate, 2 years of College or equivalent experience.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years healthcare experience working in Information Services, Finance, Decision Support or some related department with extensive knowledge of financial systems. Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills required. Prior financial, costing and productivity, experience a plus. Two or four year degree in computer science or a minimum of 5 years experience in a related field. Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, SQL experience required. Ability to learn proprietary ad hoc report writer.
Position SummaryThe Database Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the application databases and software at Jupiter Medical Center.
  • Responsible for the audit, maintenance and integrity of the databases assigned.
  • Works with the user departments, system analysts, technical experts, and the software vendors providing exceptional customer service and open lines of communication.
  • Responsible for maintaining the necessary tables, log files and parameters to ensure smooth operation of assigned systems.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cloverleaf interface engine.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
