Job Description:
TriSource Staffing is currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Senior Accountant on behalf of our client in Jessup, MD. This position requires strong experience in inventory and fixed assets management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in accounting principles, and able to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile inventory and fixed assets accounts.
- Perform month-end close procedures related to inventory and fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to inventory and fixed assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on inventory and fixed assets.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
