Job SummaryPart-time, Professional Technical grant-funded position. The Project Director will report to the Grant’s Principal Investigator and collaborate with grant partners and community stakeholders as well as other staff and faculty to oversee the grant’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of students and grant requirements.
Job Duties
- 95% - ○ Complete Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) program reporting requirements ○ Assist with budget and time keeping practices to ensure appropriate expenditures ○ Assist in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting project results and outcomes ○ Serve as a liaison with Strategic Network Partners as well as Delta Regional Authority (DRA) ○ Assist in developing and implementing the grant’s needs and requirements - (Essential)
- 5% - ○ Assist in the development of the student recruitment plan ○ Other duties as assigned to support the Medical Coding program - (Marginal)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the medical field
- Experience with federal grant management
- 5 years in the healthcare field in management level
- Master’s Degree
- Experience working with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grants
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, student population, and community leaders. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative and responsibility for scheduling individual sessions with students
- Ability to asses and provide recommendations for additional assistance as needed for student well-being
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
Schedule/Hours: No more than 29 hours may be worked per week (hours depend on budget availability and need). Hours are scheduled around class schedule between normal business hours of 8:00 to 4:30.
