- Ensures meals are ready at a specified time
- Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus
- Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same
- Monitor and adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed
- Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized
- Must have a High School Diploma
- 5 years exp in a commercial setting preferred
