Alcoa Concrete & Masonry, Inc. is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Hyattsville, MD
We are seeking a result-driven, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with at least 2 years of experience organizing, supervising, scheduling & planning multiple commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced management skills, maximize cost efficiency, and motivate employees to complete each project assigned on time and under budget. The right motivated, hard-working Project Manager will be responsible for administrative and technical management of a commercial construction project, willing to work in a fast-paced environment, and should have a background in overseeing construction projects. Our project manager functions as the primary point person for the project and steers the project forward. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done and confidently represent the company, including committing the company to schedule and cost matters within approved parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Make sure that the project runs smoothly.
- Arrange contracts and design work.
- Work together with field team to manage project changes & billing.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Stay up to date on associated paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- A minimum of 2 years of direct project management experience (preferred)
- Organized, with great attention to detail
- Effective presentation skills both to internal and external groups
- Well-versed in excel and all MS Office Programs
- Strong and proactive communication (written, phone, and in-person)
- Ability to work well with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,600.00 - $82,713.00 per year
