R-00137246 Description Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented senior Electrical Test Engineer to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for defense, missiles, aviation, and space systems. Basic Qualifications: * The position requires an ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering with 8 years of test planning and execution experience or 6 years with MS degree. * Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes. * Candidates must have experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures. * Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience with high power electrical systems integration, troubleshooting * Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate. * Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance. Responsibilities Include: * Using system requirements to generate test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects; * Creating, modifying, and using electrical test instrumentation and data logging systems to satisfy testing requirements on high voltage and high temperature test environments; * Conducting tests according to approved procedures; * Performing test data analysis, requirements verification, and validation documentation and reports. * The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds. * The position will require travel to Arnold AFB for 2 days a week until the completion of the program. * The individual will interface with customers; department leadership; project managers; designers; analysts; quality, safety, and security personnel; and other test engineers within Dynetics.
