RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Primary Hand Receipt Holder in property management and maintenance tasks.
• Manage 4x Hand Receipts with a total of $3K assets valued at $2M dollars.
  • Physical inventories monthly and quarterly.
  • Turn in and disposal of excess or obsolete property.
  • Create documents and submit paperwork to Property Book Office related to transfers, turn-ins, and new additions.
  • Receive and barcode new equipment or test equipment on loan.
  • Catalog new equipment and submit serial number challenges for commercial-off-the-shelf items in the Army Enterprise System Integration.
  • Account for incoming and outgoing shipments (both physically and in organization's workflow system).
  • Serve as directorate Point of Contact for all computer and cellphone transactions.
• Create and brief monthly logistics reports to division leadership.
• Responsible for managing the internal property database, Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) and Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).
• Submit, follow-up and receive orders for materials in GCSS-A.
• Create DA Form 2062 for sub-hand receipts, ensuring equipment users are responsible for assigned equipment.
• Maintain a file system for historical equipment data, property transactions, and supply actions.
• Coordinate work orders and maintenance action.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have completed HS/GED.
• Minimum of zero to one (0 - 1) years experience working within the area of unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management, administration and Army equipment calibration.
• Possess knowledge of inventory managment, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
• The individual must be familiar with AR 735-5 for the purposes of accountability and calibration.
• The individual shall clearly demonstrate a thorough knowledge of AR 735-5. This regulation governs accountability, documentation, and coding of Army property.
• The individual shall have a demonstrated knowledge of the Army calibration system and have a working understanding of current IT as applied to property accountability.
