As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes. - Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize financial data effectively and facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, hours, timekeeping & receipts, to provide insights into the firm's financial performance.
- Daily Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management or other stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
- Research Current Reporting: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and analysis, incorporating new methodologies and tools to enhance reporting processes.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and best data visualization practices.
- Prior experience working in Financial Analysis.
- Experienced with Office 365 applications and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and teammates.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the legal industry or professional services sector.
- Experience in developing and maintaining SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
- Experience creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and table joins.
