BASIC PURPOSE:

Offer advanced analytical expertise essential to the enhancement of trade surveillance and compliance initiatives.

• MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate closely with trading, legal, risk, and accounting departments to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
• Develop and continually refine policies, procedures, and controls to effectively mitigate compliance risks.
• Spearhead the review, analysis, and reporting of outcomes derived from internal trade surveillance system(s).
• Promptly respond to and report alerts generated by internal compliance systems/solutions.
• Lead internal compliance investigations and evaluations of trading activities.
• Contribute to investigations and responses concerning regulatory inquiries.
• Facilitate routine compliance training sessions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Deliver ad hoc compliance reports as required.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
• MLS or JD degree preferred
• Experience:
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in compliance, audit, middle office, or legal roles
• Experience within trading organizations, financial services, or legal firms preferred
• Preferred experience in oil, refined products, NGL, and/or biofuel markets

• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertinent to Musket’s commercial business lines
• Familiarity with RightAngle or other ETRM systems preferred
• Typical Physical Demands:
• Prolonged sitting, with occasional bending and stooping
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient for operating a computer keyboard and calculator
• Normal range of hearing and vision required
