POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is responsible for the daily maintenance and general repairs of various CNC Machines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

x Custodian duties

x Basic building maintenance - AC filters, light bulbs etc.

x CNC waste disposal.

x Qualified to operate a WellBoss forklift (certified).

x Basic troubleshooting of non-CNC mechanical equipment.

x Perform and log mixer ratio checks.

x Basic mechanical knowledge including hand and power tools.

x Cleaning of sensitive equipment.

x Assist with larger repairs i.e., remove machine guarding and covers.

x Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.

x PMs on industrial equipment.

x Repairs on industrial equipment.

x Use appropriate strategies and solutions for dealing with conflicts and differences to maintain a smooth workflow.

x Use equipment and tools safely as designed/documented.

x Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The Maintenance Technician Level 2 must at a minimum possess the following:

x A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

x One plus year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

x Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.

x Ability to comprehend production requirements.

x Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently.

x Basic computer literacy skills.

x Must be self-motivated and be able to work with little or no supervision.

x Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively operate multiple machines at one time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Maintenance Technician Level 2 must be able to:

x Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.

x Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.

x Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear,

etc.).

x Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
