Electric Utility Cad Drafter / Cad Technician

Our client is hiring an Electric Utility Cad Drafter / Cad Technician to join their team.
Currently looking for a CAD Technician to join their Distribution Modernization team out of Houston. Need to be proficient in AutoCAD.
The CAD Technician is responsible for creating and revising Electric Utility Transmission, Distribution and Substation drawings of basic components from verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches.

This position successfully plots drawings; learns and follows drafting standards and procedures;

Preferred skills:

• Experience with AutoCAD software and Electric Utility Transmission, Distribution, Substation or related utility work Preferred.

• Any Experience with other Cad systems such as: AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, Civil-3D, PLS-CADD are a plus.
• An Associate's degree in computer-aided drafting and design is desirable.
