Pay Rate: $37.91/hour. on W2

Work Type: Hybrid – Houston, TX 77002

Duration: 1-year contract (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate as a liaison between the internal drafting resources, external service providers and the company's Project Managers and Engineers.
• Involved in standard and moderately complex technical assignments which require considerable technical expertise.
• Collaborates with Design Oversight Team in preparing preliminary layout, process flow diagram (PFD) and/or piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID)
• May participate in development of new procedures and improvement of existing practices
• Review drafting requirements and expectations
• Review drawings and verify that they conform with the company and project drafting standards
• Provide required documents to project engineer or coordinator for reference in the design basis memorandum (DBM)
• Check CAD files into the FileNet Working Library.
• Verify drawings are correctly loaded into the FileNet Engineering and Working Libraries.
• Advise the project engineer or coordinator when libraries are up-to-date and complete

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical School graduate.
