Position: Activities Director
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Key Qualifications: We seek an individual who embodies our core values and can lead our activities program with dedication and passion. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities: As our Activities Director, you will:

• Plan, develop, and implement engaging activity programs.
• Stay updated on federal and state regulations, recommending policy changes as needed.
• Review and enhance department policies and procedures.
• Identify medically-related activity needs and contribute to care plans.
• Collaborate with residents and families for program planning.
• Provide consultation to staff and community agencies to meet residents' needs.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Ensure all activity progress notes are comprehensive and informative.
• Organize transportation for field trips when necessary.
• Maintain a reference library for compliance and quality programs.
• Develop and participate in in-service training classes.
• Conduct assessments of resident activity needs.
• Review nurses' notes for compliance with care plans.
• Oversee PNA.
• Input payroll.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Activities Director.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be licensed as an Activities Director.
