Randstad Federal is seeking a Technical Manager for an opportunity supporting NASA
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or other technical discipline, plus five (5) years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of technical project management, backed by technical experience. Familiarity with systems administration will help the candidate in facilitating communication between customer and technical staff.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work, delegate and multitask.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
strong computer science background with the ability to quantify, analyze, and communicate complex system issues.
Familiarity with system configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible) and revision control software (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps workflows. The ability to lead projects related to this area a plus.
User level experience with Jira and Confluence.
Familiarity with on-premises cloud technologies. Familiarity with OpenStack is a plus.
Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to ask analytical questions.
