Job Title: Estimating Manager - Design-Build Focus

Role Summary: Seeking an Estimating Manager to lead collaboration between sales, project management, and design teams. Oversee cost estimates for design-build projects and negotiate proposals and cooperative contracts. Drive economical construction solutions while ensuring thorough project estimates.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the Estimating Department and supervise branch teams.
• Develop accurate cost estimation standards and tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate project goals.
• Coordinate estimating activities and mentor team members.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit as necessary.
• Travel for stakeholder meetings.
• Proficiency in Sage Estimating software, overseeing database management.
• Identify project risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Coordinate with the sales team for accurate project scope estimation.
• Plan project timelines, milestones, and budgets.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Manage year-end database updates and software upgrades.
• Conduct site visits for project clarification.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years as a Senior Estimator in commercial construction.
• Preferred 10 years with significant estimating and design experience.
• Strong interpretation skills of building plans and specifications.
• Proficient in material takeoffs and documentation analysis.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
