Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in Fort Worth, TX
Job Scope:
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Contract: 3 Months
Administrative Duties:
- Scheduling Appointments: Medical assistants assist in scheduling patient appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Data Entry: They accurately record and update medical histories, contact information, and other relevant data in patient files.
Clinical Duties:
- Vital Signs: They measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Blood Sample Collection: Medical assistants draw blood samples for lab tests.
- Patient Care Procedures: They perform standard care procedures, including wound dressing, administering injections, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
Education and Training Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
- Current BLS certification
