Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED as well as a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in payroll and computerized payroll systems. Applicants must have experience in word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
As a Payroll Practitioner you will be responsible for operating payroll software to record, store and analyze information related to payroll. Prepare, maintain and process agency payroll and all related tasks including but not limited to: Income verifications, check and record payroll deductions and reimbursements, FMLA participation, payroll histories upon request, check payroll figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper general ledger codes. Comply and enforce the federal, state regulations and company policies, and procedures related to payroll. Compile data and maintain files and records related to payroll. Reconcile, note, fix and report discrepancies found in payroll documents. Assist to create and process annual W-2’s and other required reports. All other duties as assigned.
Workdays/Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.
