As a Site Reliability Engineer on our team, you'll develop and sustain multiple secure, resilient, and highly available Kubernetes clusters to support mission critical operations both regionally and on the edge. You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the environment and knowledge of various on premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you work with your customer to ensure standards are met throughout the process. * Experience managing, administrating, configuring, deploying, and maintaining environments and system integration tools, including Kubernetes, Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Longhorn, Rook-Ceph, Chaos Engineering, and Grafana
* Experience building bare-metal Kubernetes clusters using various services, including CoreDNS, NGINX, Kube-Vip, or Kube-Virt
* Experience with application development and migration in cloud-native environments, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and te chn ologies, business applications, hypervisors, customer requirements, data types, protocols, and policies * Experience writing in Terraform, Ansible playbooks, Linux automation scripts, rudimentary APIs, or automation scripts to interact with existing APIs, automated provisioning, infrastructure as code, and sof tware development programming languages
* Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level for APM tools, including Splu nk , ELK, and Prometheus
* Knowledge of IDAM requirements and te chn ologies, including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, hardware tokens, OAuth 2.0, or OIDC
* TS/SCI clearance * HS diploma or GED
* Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 2 months of hire date Nice If You Have: * Experience with Agile development methodologies and working on Agile teams using collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Discourse
* Experience managing and deploying applications in an air-gapped environment
* Experience creating and c ond ucting automated unit and system integration tests to identify and feedback failed modules and components
* Experience working with CM tools, including GitLab, Git-centric, and CI / CD workflows
* Ability to communicate te chn ical ideas and deliver briefings with cross functional teams
* Ability to communicate and display tact
* Possession of excellent listening skills

* Certified Kubernetes Application Developer ( CKAD ) , Certified Kubernetes Administrator ( CKA ) , or Certified Kubernetes Security ( CKS ) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
