As a Kubernetes platform engineer, you know how to build resilient platforms that meet customer needs and take advantage of the power of containerization both in the cloud and on-premises. As a Kubernetes platform engineer on our team, you'll develop and sustain multiple secure, resilient, and highly available Kubernetes clusters to support mission-critical operations both regionally and on the edge. You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you work with your customers to ensure standards are met throughout the process. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud te chn ologies as you look for ways to improve your customer's environment using current cloud capabilities and implementing them on the edge. * Experience with cloud te chn ologies and cloud environments
* Experience with programming languages
* Experience with managing and deploying applications in an air-gapped environment
* Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level with APM tools, including Splu nk , ELK, and Prometheus
* Knowledge IDAM requirements and te chn ologies, including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, hardware tokens, OAuth 2.0, or OIDC
* Ability to obtain a security clearance * HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: * Experience in Agile development methodologies and working with Agile teams using collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Discourse
* Experience with creating and c ond ucting automated unit and system integration tests to identify, and feedback on failed modules and components
* Experience in working with CM tools, including Gitlab, Git-centric, and CI / CD workflows
* Ability to communicate te chn ical ideas and deliver briefings with cross-function teams
* Possession of excellent listening skills
* TS/SCI clearance
* Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
