A health system is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

A full-time locum orthopedic surgeon is needed to cover 2-3 days a week in the operating room and 2-3 days a week in the clinic. The clinic hours are from 07:30 to 17:00 Monday through Thursday and from 07:30 to 12:00 on Fridays. Midlevel support is available for both inpatient and outpatient care, and while the physician may receive occasional inpatient consults, trauma advanced practice providers (APPs) are available to assist. The physician will round in the hospital daily during the week, with an average of 0-6 inpatients rounded on each day. The patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics, as a pediatric orthopedic doctor is available. Required procedures include those for conditions affecting the elbow down.
