SENECA RESOURCES is Hiring a Performance Test Engineer Near Fairfax, VA
- Primarily responsible for conducting performance testing activities; with secondary duties supporting: IV&V, requirements validation, Section 508 compliance, and/or regression testing.
- Lead event-specific teams tasked with planning and executing tests under supervision of Project Test Lead.
- Experience interacting with customer stakeholders, monitoring and coordinating testing activities; generating test reports; and assisting and training junior testing staff in developing their testing skills.
- Performs analysis of documented user requirements and designs test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems.
- Demonstrated experience using the customer’s Apache JMeter/Taurus/BlazeMeter tool suite to design, implement, execute, and report results of performance/load tests.
- Preferred skills in one or more additional testing specialization:
- Test Event Management – Plan and organize test events; analyze high-level requirements to determine scope; develop test event documentation.
- Automation Testing – Design, implement and execute suites of automated tests in an IV&V environment; create new and maintain existing tests using industry-recognized tools and techniques.
