Fast Growing Automation Systems Integrator for a very broad range of Industrial Automation applications seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to join an impressive team of 30 engineers. This is a newly created role due to growth. Outstanding benefits, very diverse projects, and a friendly and collaborative environment. Travel less than 20%.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate alternative components and/or automation strategies for new and existing equipment and processes to improve efficiency, product quality and/or performance, and reduce cost.
• Perform programming of control devices including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and Servos.
• Design electrical control systems for a wide range of applications
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate should have:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 3 plus years of direct experience as a controls engineer working on automated processes/system integration in a Machinery Manufacturing/Integration Environment
• Experience with PLC programming software a must
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
