Energetic Patient Service Superstars, we need you! Our elite healthcare client is seeking personable and organized individuals to join their front-line team. As a Patient Service Representative, you'll create an outstanding first impression by greeting patients with a warm smile and providing exceptional service at every interaction. Putting your strong communication abilities and knack for multi-tasking to work, you'll masterfully juggle appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and managing medical records.
Responsibilities:
* Greet patients in a pleasant and prompt manner
* Answer a high volume of incoming calls using proper professional telephone etiquette
* Route calls to appropriate areas/personnel on a multi-line phone system
* Schedule and confirm patient appointments
* Communicate effectively with patients, providers, referring physician offices, and staff
* Register patients into the computer system
* Print daily schedule of exams and review for accuracy of exam, diagnosis, patient preparation, and insurance requirements
* Contact referring physician's office for any exam lacking proper documentation
* Verify insurance and patient demographics
* Process patient co-payments and outstanding balances
* Handle patient requests for medical records, including copying images onto CDs, providing report copies, and mailing CDs to other facilities
* Perform other related organizational duties as requested to facilitate daily workflow
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
* Knowledge of medical terminology, including parts of the body (highly desirable)

Qualifications:
* Ability to work in an office environment
* 1 year of customer service experience in a similar role
* 1 year of medical office experience (preferred but not required)
