Library Systems & Services LLC is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Escondido, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote library programs and services effectively
- Design and produce marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, posters, and brochures to support library events and initiatives
- Determine quantity and distribution of all promotional materials, optimizing their effectiveness
- Lead and manage the library's social media presence, creating engaging content and campaigns that foster community interaction and increase followers
- Contribute to the maintenance and content updates of the library's website, ensuring information is current and appealing
- Maintain and ensure brand standards in public communications
- Coordinate with different departments to gather information and promote library services and special events
- Provide training to staff on systems and procedures under the purview of Marketing & Digital Communications
- Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Participate in community outreach activities to enhance the library's community presence and engagement
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Publisher, etc.) and content management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for community service and a strong belief in the value of public libraries
- Written and spoken fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to move from place to place within the location; lift, push/pull, hold/carry items weighing up to (25) pounds and occasionally up to (35) pounds, such as files, books, stacks of paper, and other materials
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork
