JOB TITLE: Facilities Supervisor

CLASSIFICATION: Part-time, Hourly at $15.00/hr

ABOUT THE POSITION:

At FitnessU and iRock Fitness, the Facilities Supervisor is responsible for a share of the daily cleaning and maintenance duties carried out by the Maintenance Team. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for holding the team accountable to production and quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

3. Able to lift at most 50 lbs and 100 lbs with the assistance of another employee

4. Proven working experience as a cleaner

5. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

6. High school diploma

7. Work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with evening and weekend flexibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, main clubs, and restrooms & locker rooms, etc.)

2. Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

3. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

4. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

5. Make adjustments and minor repairs

6. Maintain supply rooms by keeping inventory in an organized manner

7. Cooperate with the rest of the staff

8. Follow all health and safety regulations

9. Oversee and manage the Maintenance crew, their schedules, and production, and reassign tasks as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Follow the FitnessU disciplinary standards with any maintenance staff who requires discipline.

2. Onboard and train new maintenance staff and hold to FitnessU standards.

3. Enforce all cleaning systems with maintenance crew

4. Conduct routine inspections of all maintenance crew work. Take corrective action if needed (retraining, disciplinary action, etc.)

5. Communicate often/as-needed with club GM on equipment function, cleaning needs, employment needs, and disciplinary action of any crew member.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
