As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing safety, quality, and productivity through the application of engineering principles and analytical techniques. Your focus will be on continuously improving product manufacturing processes, including the design and modification of products, equipment, and assembly processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Actively participate in daily production meetings, collaborating closely with the production team to drive engineering initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes and throughput.
• Utilize root cause analysis and process mapping to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions effectively.
• Take the lead in reducing variability and implementing lean manufacturing principles, sharing best practices across departments or multiple sites.
• Innovate new systems and ideas to optimize manufacturing costs for musical instruments and components, actively supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain engineering databases, including item masters, bills of material, and routing files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiently use Solidworks for design and additive manufacturing purposes.
• Evaluate and resolve day-to-day engineering problems, contributing to Total Quality Management efforts.
• Prepare specifications, request quotations, and participate in tooling improvements and layout planning.
• Provide technical floor support to address manufacturing challenges effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing tools and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable with long periods of sedentary work and occasional travel.
• Proficient in repetitive upper body movements, particularly keyboard and monitor use.
