Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of ten (10) years related experience
- Minimum five (5) years of quality assurance management experience in a sheet metal/aerospace facility
- AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
- Coordinate and implement the quality management system, associated Nadcap requirements, and customer requirements
- Achieve and maintain DSQR (Designated Supplier Quality Representative) for GE, Rolls Royce and other aerospace customers
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
- Prepare for and represent the company during Nadcap, customer, government, and AS9100 audits
- Perform internal audits of existing quality management systems procedures and processes
- Provide training to Quality Control Inspectors
- Prepare and present AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as required
- Assist in the development and implementation of Root Case and Corrective Actions (RCCA) initiatives
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
- Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
- Carry-out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
