Adame Services is Hiring a Senior Automation Engineer Near Durham, NC
The primary role is to lead Automation effort of infrastructure provisioning, build and deploy activities for NC FAST applications. This position must demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and software release life cycle.
This position will be responsible for automating and performing tasks associated with the build and deploy processes for the NCFAST application by preparing and executing build scripts using Ansible, cloud formation etc. This position will provide hands-on Automation support to the release and Application development teams for the entire release management lifecycle across multiple applications as well as recommend process improvements keeping Agile and DevOps culture and practices in mind.
This position will also be responsible for supporting tasks and activities for the release/build team in the Architecture and Infrastructure Unit of the NCFAST program.
The position will work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application changes. This position will interact with the architects, developers, deployment Team, and Database Administrators to ensure automation of various tasks.
This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends as required to meet business needs.
RequiredRequired: 7 years with automating, build/deloy process including changes to database using tools like ansible
Required: 3 years with BitBucket/GIT source Code management tool, including branching,,erging,configuring and administrating.
Required: 7 years with J2EE specific application hosting/ Application tracing/debugging and application deployment.
Heighly desired: 2 year with developing and managing CI/CD(devops)pipeline using tools liketeamcity,Jenkins,Ansible.
Heighly desired: 2 years with Ansible SDLC processes(scrum,kanban)
Heighly desired: 1 years wuthAmazon web services and infrastructures.
