Job Summary

Personal Injury Lawyers provide legal advice and representation to clients who have sustained a physical or psychological injury, as well as financial loss, after falling victim to the carelessness or negligence of an individual or organization.

Responsibilities

• Build client’s cases by verifying that all client injuries, damages, and other losses have been documented and are being presented for maximum recovery
• Develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants
• Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation (e.g., insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases)
• Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward to settlement
• Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement
• Have litigation experience (including trial experience) for cases that are low-balled during the demand stage

Basic Requirements and Qualifications

• GA license in good standing to practice law in Georgia
• Previous trial experience required (2 years)
• Ability to connect with clients and build trust through meeting commitments
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Successful decision-making skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to multi-task and handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all levels of Firm personnel and the public

• Pay: Range 80K-110K based on experience
