Minimum 2 Years experience in Payroll

Action Group Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Dover, NJ. The ideal candidates should be proficient in MS Excel and have 2 years’ experience in payroll processes. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with Payroll experience to join our team of top professionals specializing in industrial and administrative staffing.

Requirements of the Payroll Coordinator

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to research and interpret guidelines/procedures to initiate and prepare various administrative forms.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to gather facts and clearly communicate findings orally and in writing.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel

Responsibilities of the Payroll Coordinator

  • Verifies receipt of timecards and accuracy of entries entered separates hours by the client and ensures hours are distributed to the correct employee.
  • Enters timecard data into the system database balancing all batches and making any adjustments or corrections as necessary.
  • Verifies data related to new employee enrollment and all change orders from Human Resources Department such as new hourly rates and changes in hours.
  • Double-check invoices pay rates, bill rates, and hours before submitting to the client in addition to any PPE deductions by the customer.
  • Update spreadsheet on bill rates, special deductions, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) deductions, and PTO (Paid Time Off) bill rates.
  • Verify direct deposits for every employee and verify the direct deposit when a new employee is starting a new assignment.
  • Assist clients with reports requested such as attendance reports, current assignment reports, or any other special report the client may need.
  • Complete employment verification forms promptly
  • Process attendance records and other documents (e.g., W-2 and tax forms)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
