Through our intelligent skills platform and a global community of instructors, we've helped over 70 million learners and 16,000 organizations achieve their goals. Come join us in ensuring everyone, everywhere has access to the skills they need to unlock their potential and create possibilities for themselves and others.
This hybrid position requires two days per week in our Denver office.
About you
You've got goals, and you're energetic when it comes to working toward them. You want to enter an environment that welcomes diverse experiences and broadens your own. With the right support from your team, you're not afraid to embrace your creativity and take risks that have the potential to move the business forward.
About this role
You will be responsible for managing a global paid acquisition program across Udemy Business marketing funnel in partnership with an advertising agency. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day oversight and execution of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads programs across Search, YouTube, Display, and Demand Gen campaigns. You will steer pacing toward quarterly budgets and optimize campaigns toward sales pipeline and ROAS goals. The right person for this role will be an experienced B2B search practitioner with a strong test-and-learn mindset and passion for improving lives through learning.
What you'll be doing
  • Manage, optimize, and report on performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads acquisition programs including Search, YouTube, Display, and Demand Gen campaigns.
  • Monitor and optimize the program's pacing toward quarterly budgets while optimizing toward sales pipeline and ROAS goals.
  • Identify opportunities for the program's improvement, formulate test hypotheses, design and launch A/B experiments to validate your hypotheses.
  • Maintain the highest standard of account quality by monitoring competitor behavior, auction insights, ad relevance, and keyword quality scores.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including data, product, engineering, creative, and legal, as well as external agencies and partners to drive your projects forward.
  • Learn and lean into AI tools to improve the effectiveness of campaign management and the velocity of testing. Now we use OpenAI, Grammarly, and Canva, but we continuously research and add more tools.
What you'll have
  • 4 years of work experience in performance marketing, primarily in paid search.
  • Experience managing B2B paid search programs with at least $250K in monthly investment, optimizing toward sales pipeline while maximizing ROAS.
  • Experience launching and managing upper- and mid-funnel Google Ads campaigns such as YouTube, Display, and Demand Gen.
  • Experience designing, launching, and measuring A/B experiments focused on finding optimal campaign setup, improving creatives, and landing page experiences.
  • Experience analyzing ad performance using spreadsheets and data visualization tools (we use Tableau).
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (we use Salesforce).
  • Experience with Google Ads & Microsoft (Bing) Ads editors.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
  • Clear passion for changing lives through learning, including experiences working in the education industry or with education clients.
We understand that not everyone will match each of the above qualifications. However, we also realize that everyone has unique experiences that can add value to our company. Even if you think your background might not perfectly align, we'd love to hear from you!
