Akkodis is seeking a PEGA software engineer to work hybrid in Dearborn, MI with a Fortune 500 company.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour.

In this position, you will:

• Shape digital strategy by delivering technical solutions.
• Leverage extreme programming and the latest cloud technologies in the development of working, tested code based on proven Agile methods.
• Leverage software craftsmanship principles and technology standards to solve problems with new and existing solutions.
• Write production-quality code to deploy on Enterprise Foundational Platforms.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop software architecture plans.
• Serve as software engineer on the product team and monitor and evaluate solution performance.
• Experiment with new and innovative software products to improve performance.

Experience Required:

• Highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.
• Building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications.
• Leading end-to-end delivery of medium to large component of a bigger solution.
• Exposure to a variety of technologies including application servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational data bases and integration techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
• Experienced in delivering solutions in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to Design and understand full PEGA architecture along with PEGA UI Experience.

Preferred:

• Java Experience Experience with Relational databases and concepts – Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
• Exposure to Rules Engines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing PEGA solutions.

Required:

• Working on a Balanced Team and collaborate with Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects; Carrying out development using PEGA Tools to support end-to-end feature delivery.
• Defining, designing, developing, and deploying applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support Guest Experience Platform growing technical capabilities/expertise and providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.
• Establishing best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk; ensuring quality, on-time delivery using Agile, test driven development principles; leveraging and applying UI/UX design principles.
• Individual should be highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.
