Hard Surface Product Development Manager

Position Overview

Essential Duties :

Manage numerous new product introductions over multiple channels and phased launches to meet development timelines. Develop and maintain timeline strategy and execution for new product introductions with the help of product design, category management, brand and manufacturing.

Create and implement effective development processes which reduce time to market.

Collaborate with design, brand, and technical too deeply understand the requirements to produce design leading products.

Coordinate closely with Global Sourcing, suppliers, manufacturers and vendors. Execute effectively using global resources and identify issues impacting product timelines.

Work with internal experts in technical development and innovation on developing new technologies, process of implementation and capacities associated for supply as projects reach the product plan.

Effectively work with team members based internationally.

Manage master blueprint file to maintain accuracy and consistency during and post development.

Lead cross-functional product development meetings and product reviews

Push and pull information clearly and consistently to multiple internal and external groups.

Coordinate with manufacturing to schedule MTRs to meet business deadlines.

Position may require the ability to travel internationally and domestically.

Requirements :

Four-year college degree, with 2-3 years experience in project management / manufacturing / sales

Strategic planning and problem solving skills

Must work well under pressure.

Microsoft Excel Skills

Demonstrate relationship building with different groups and effective communication skills with multiple personality types.

Self-motivated, organizational skills, and strategic time management in a multi-tasking environment

Understanding of global sourcing in Asia is a plus.
